Terms and Conditions for International Roaming

Anywhere you have SunCom International Roaming Service and a compatible phone, you can access your voice mail.

To retrieve a voice mail:

Dial your SunCom phone number (including country code)
You will hear "Telephone number please"
Enter your 10-digit SunCom phone number
You will now be in the voice mail system and will be able to retrieve messages

While you are roaming, those who call you may also hear the "Telephone number please" prompt and will need to enter your number again to leave a voice mail.

All minutes used while roaming are charged the respective per-minute international rate. Voice features that provide additional buckets of minutes, such as Nights & Weekends, Mobile-to-Mobile, Mobile-to-Anyone, etc. will not apply while traveling internationally.

While traveling internationally, you may send and receive text and picture messages to and from people who have service with U.S. carriers. However, you cannot send or receive to or from people who have service from a carrier not based in the U.S.

If you choose phone insurance, you are covered while you travel. Please note that you may have to wait until you return to the U.S. to get your replacement phone.

Emergency service numbers (such as 911) vary from country to country. Remember to check locally for these emergency numbers.

Roaming may not be available in all countries.

When outside the U.S., Puerto Rico or U.S. Virgin Islands, you will be charged international roaming airtime rates when incoming calls are routed to voice mail even if no message is left.

International airtime charges will also apply whether or not the message is delivered.

International roaming rates apply for all calls placed or received while outside the U.S., Puerto Rico or U.S. Virgin Islands.

Availability, quality of coverage and services while roaming are not guaranteed and are subject to change.

International taxes and surcharges apply.

Calling to certain countries, when calling from the U.S. or internationally, is blocked, which is subject to change without notice.

Billing for international calls may be delayed up to six billing cycles due to information supplied by international carriers.

International Roaming is not available to prepaid, Month-to-Month, SunCom True Reward℠ and pay-in-advance customers.

SunCom has partners in many countries worldwide. But please remember voice and data coverage within each country may not exist in all areas. Data service is not always available in areas where voice service is functional.
