SunCom Wireless is a wireless phone service provider based in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. After completing an exchange of territories with Cingular Wireless and AT&T Wireless Services in 2005, SunCom is licensed to provide digital wireless communications services in an area covering 14.8 million people in the Southeastern United States and 4.1 million people in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Since it began providing service in January 1999, SunCom Wireless has launched service in 27 markets including 11 of the top 100 markets in the United States. SunCom's territory includes the Carolinas' largest cities - Charlotte, Raleigh, Greensboro in North Carolina; Charleston, Columbia, Greenville-Spartanburg and Myrtle Beach in South Carolina; and Savannah and Augusta in Georgia. Many of SunCom's markets are vibrant centers of economic development and also include popular beach resorts and historic attractions. It is estimated that more than 50 million travelers pass through our region each year.
