Triton PCS Common Stock Begins Trading on NYSE Under Ticker 'TPC'
BERWYN, Pa., July 31 – Triton PCS Holdings Inc. today announced it has completed the transfer of its listing from the Nasdaq National Market to the New York Stock Exchange and began trading today under its new ticker "TPC." Trading of the company's common stock on the Nasdaq National Market under the ticker "TPCS" has been discontinued. Triton PCS, based in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, is a leading provider of digital wireless phone service in the Southeast licensed to operate in a contiguous area covering more than 13 million people in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, northern Georgia, northeastern Tennessee and southeastern Kentucky.
